The Stamp effect renders an image so it appears to be the product of a wood or rubber stamp.
Light/Dark Balance
Move the slider to the right to have more areas of the image take on the foreground color (usually black) and to the left to have more areas take on the background color (usually white).
Smoothness
Move the slider to the right to make the overall image smoother and to the left to make it less smooth.
The Stamp effect uses the host program's current foreground and background colors (if available) to color the final result.
Tips
• The Texturizer effect can be applied after the Stamp effect to bring some texture (wood, gauze, and others) into the solid areas of color.
• To create a stamp pad look, the Grain effect can be applied after the Stamp effect to break up the large areas of color in the final image.
If either of the two above approaches are used, it’s sometimes desirable to increase the brightness and contrast (using the host program's brightness and contrast controls) of the final image to get rid of any minor amounts of texture that are apparent in the lighter areas of the image.
